Here are the details of the Annual Memorial Ride in memory of Mick and Terry. We are doing something different this year in terms of route and distance.
We will leave the shop in two waves, the first (G1 and G2) will go at 8:30 and the second (Intro and G1) will leave at 8:40. Both waves will head off to Birkin Fisheries.
After stuffing our faces you then have two options.
Option 1: ride back together as a group towards Snaith and Cowick. At Cowick turn towards Thorne and return to the shop. This will give you a distance of circa 50 miles.
Option 2: as above but instead of turning off, head to Gilberdyke Garden Centre for another cafe stop. Then return back to the shop which will give a distance in total of around 80-90 miles.
NOTE: Garden Centre has a limited menu by the time we will get there so fuel up at Birkin.
As well as remembering two great men who did so much for the club, the ride is also for MacMillan, a charity close to both. We have so far raised over £6,500 from these rides so please donate again this year if you can. I will post the details later.
I look forward to seeing you on the 21st.
